The world is getting wealthier... but

The world is getting wealthier - this is a fact. There are now less people living in extreme poverty, higher life expediencies and improved educated rates globally.

BUT the gap between the rich and the poor is wider than ever. BBC have launched a new internet series that highlights the winners and losers of the development gap. Grade 11 this is a fantastic direct link to the work we did in the wealth and disparities unit, particularly the section looking at origins of disparities.
