The Box - a story about globalisation?

Back in 2009, the BBC embarked on a one year project to track a standard shipping container to identify some of the patterns of the modern day phenomenon - globalisation! 

The Box was fitted with a GPS device and painted with the BBC logo to aid tracking. Below is a map of the box's final journey including the routes and the port stopovers.
